Arrows Academy will be offering IOWA Testing 

for grades 3rd-11th on May 18 and 19 from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.  

This is open to all homeschool families, not just those attending Arrows Academy.  

Cost= $50/student

Registration will be open through Friday, April 16th.

Iowa test scores are nationally recognized by many public and private schools.   Standardized testing provides valuable test taking skills, such as though needed on the ACT and SAT. Homeschool families have found that yearly standardized testing is a valuable tool to gauge if a student is meeting the educational standards for their grade level. The Iowa Test is nationally norm-referenced, allowing homeschooled students to be compared to students across the country.

Tests cover:

• Vocabulary test
• Word Analysis (3rd grade only)
• Listening (3rd grade only)
• Reading/ Reading Comprehension
• Spelling, Capitalization, Punctuation, Usage and Expression
• Math Concepts & Estimation, Problem Solving, Data Interpretation, Computation
• Social Studies
• Science
• Sources of Information (Maps, Diagrams, Reference Materials)

Students will need to bring:

• 2-#2 pencils, sharpened
• ruler(in/cm),scrap paper
• Bag lunch and drink
• no gum or candy
• a book to read when finished
